WordPress Category Page Template
Page layout problems in Internet Explorer?
I am having a problem with a template for my site, http://joewhite.xmgfree.com/news/. If you look in the bullet lists "files" and "categories" in IE and Firefox comparison, you see that are spaced wrong in IE. This is a template made for someone to WordPress. The code can be accessed via the code view. Is there any way to fix this problem? This template is http://joewhite.xmgfree.com/ integrated into my main site via a PHP include so any alternative would have my own account. Please help, thanks.
hey man the first thing I suggest is to remove all padding and margins li ul tags and then work "outward" From there, you may have to cut the CSS to fix this problem, but as IE is crap in that it ignores things ... here is the example of removing padding and margins: ul {margin: 0px 0px 0px 15px; padding: 0px;} li {margin: 0px 0px 0px 15px; padding: 0px;} if the bullet goes unseen in other words, only slightly increased to 15 .. . css hack one can do the following with almost any value (im showing up as anexample) class_tag {height: 40px important; / * Value of Firefox * / height: 60px; / * IE value * /} automaticall Firefox will ignore the second value and IE uses the last value you see (second) and yeagh to help you solve the problem;)
