Gold Plugin WP-cart e-commerce that I link to my merchant account business?

I have a web-based business I am building with WordPress plugin WP and electronic commerce. I have another business that can accept credit cards by entering it manually on my laptop the account of my client and want to use my merchant account with WP e-commerce site. I'm thinking of buying the car of gold update plugins for WP-commerce mail for $ 40 so you can link this account I do not see that option in the original version. Am I allowed to do that if I buy I can get this plugin or not even original purchase by adjusting the WP-eCommerce install somehow?
