Why and how to backup WordPress web

Certainly, I had pain when I had my backup files WordPress site web. My first incident was when I thought it might be a PHP programmer. While adjusting the template to a point that I thought I would like to get fancy with the announcement of sharing and rotating ads. I broke my site and could not fix. Having never left my site I had to reload the template and start over. That was the least of my problems.

Later, I thought wordpress updates were optional, and great pain. Finally, a managed security holes enter and fill my website with links to various adult sites. Having never made a copy of the database that ended up calling the website hosting company and ask a backup. It took a couple of weeks to get that all was not lost, but it was very stressful.

You do not have to rely on your hosting company do the work for you. You can create a backup every time you want. I recommend every few months or before going to any experimentation.

The basic steps Backup your website is:
Use an FTP program like FileZilla, go to your site as a filler in your cPanel. Then copy all files related its place in the team. Simply replace folders each time you repeat the copy.

Backup the WordPress database:
Log in to cPanel
Click phpadmin
Choose the database that holds the files wordpress
Click the Export tab
Click Add / Remove Table
Check full Inserts
Save as File check box
Check any compression unless your database is huge
Click the GO button

It is important that you backup wordpress website so that when something goes wrong do not get so frustrated with your website to stop smoking. If you find these processes to be too heavy you can find some plugins that will handle the backups for you. However, plugins copy whole tables or recreating always scares me. I just image an entire table of flight in me.
