About the author:

Dawn Huffaker live in the mountains of southwestern New Mexico. She is the eldest daughter of two educators.

At the age of eight months, became mysteriously Dawn sick and never learned to walk. She has had to learn to deal with their world from a wheelchair. With the help of his family, he is leading a productive life.

In high school, Dawn discovered her passion for poetry. Some very special teachers took the time to show the beauty of words. From that moment, she wrote poems for family and friends, and published works in the school newspaper.

In college, she received her degree in Computer Science, and minors in English and biology. Dawn went on to found a local computer store. The store has been running for seventeen years. He then spent two months in The hospital is a health problem, and had to close his business.

When Dawn returned home, he spent several months recuperating. During this time, she began exploring the idea of publishing his first book of poetry, and the selection of his poems as possible to give a volume. That was how cheap the fantasy came to be.

Today, Dawn has published his second book Escapes Flor is a collaboration with Michele Duncan, photographer incredible flower. This book is available through Amazon.

Welcome aboard!

This is the first flight of ofFancy flights. It is the first volume of my poetry, and covers aselection of poems written in the last twenty years.My home is in the mountains Southwest New Mexico.The pine and juniper are my neighbors. Mountainstouch the sky outside my window. The inspiration for many of these poems come from here.Inside these pages, many types of flights. Each is designedto show an aspect of life. In the joy of living, the beauty of nature inthe, the sadness of the loss is recorded here.By share these, can see that life is very impressive inspiring.Each time is so precious. Time passes very fastwhen distracted.

Flights of imagination is a collection of poetry from dawn Huffaker very talented. The name of this volume is derived from the series of 'cheap', or chapters, each of which was inspired by a variety of forms of nature. The author describes the range of emotions, from joy to sadness, the beauty of the observations of living humans and nature. Most of his poetry was inspired by the panoramic views of Southwestern New once plentiful windows of his home in Mexico.

Flights of imagination represents poems were written during a period of 25 years in the life of the author. Topics range from the various phases of his life to three of its major love - God, rodeo, and computers. The use of several different schemes of poetry, Ms. Huffaker has created a collection that is always inspiring, able to represent images in particular, and reminiscent of the higher emotions.

The best parts of this book, in my opinion, are those of nature. Like those of us who love New Mexico know, the state has a unique beauty majesty and the evidence of God's ability to tap the magnificent glory design. The author is very skilled in the description of this splendor just:

"Soft purple glow / whispers in the sky / like the sun yawns / Day and outputs;

soft pink glow / push to the stars / the / dance floor and sends them to bed. "

I love these lines and its personification of the heavenly bodies.

Poetry reading in the lines of flights of fancy makes me want to be in New Mexico once again, and be able to see through the eyes of the author when he writes:

"I live in the lap / shoulder of a giant sleep / sleep shirt is made / of the Sabine women, / and the pines. "

Flights of imagination is a truly moving and beautiful work that serve as inspiration to anyone who reads it.
