Top 5 reasons to use WordPress for your blog

If you're like me, when I first created my blog a year ago, I had no idea where to start. Should I use Blogger, blog site, WordPress, or any of the 100 other blogging platforms out there?

I figured it was a blog a blog. Boy, I learned otherwise!

After a great deal of research, advice and assistance of others (the "Red" part of the network marketing) I realized that I'd better go with the installation of WordPress on my blog.

For those of you who are not familiar with WordPress, a blog platform blog gives you a pre-built free. But if you really want to improve your marketing blog - you really need to get a self-hosted WordPress blog and your own personal domain. And I'll go into more detail here on the list.

Like any smart marketer realizes - make things difficult for the professionals. So that's why my blog set-up contract (including graphs, RSS feeds, theme, and the connection to all my social networking sites) in the professional blog set-up guru - Ms. Shannon Shubert in IM Marketing Group .

Here are my Top 5 reasons to use WordPress for your blog:

1. Google loves WordPress - If you are using a blog to their marketing strategies, you are probably interested in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - at least a little. If you're into SEO, then you want and need to give Google your site "a little love." Now, I could go on and on and on and over and over again about SEO, but the idea is that Google want to rank the site higher your competition for any given keyword. Well, for some reason, Google loves WordPress. Period. Game, set and match! You need a WordPress blog, if you is in SEO strategies.

Yes, you can use other blogging sites and still get a good ranking, but usually have to work harder to get the same amount of "love" of Google as your competition. If you already have a blog and are so far different as it hurt more than help, stick with it and make it work. However, AT least have to self-organized - which leads me to my next point.

2. Auto stayed - I have this on my top 5 reasons so, for good reason. (Oh man, I clever!) You can use the free version of wordpress and have no problems and make them work for you very well. But you could get a few problems, the largest of which is that your blog can be here one day and gone the next. If you have a car WordPress blog, one can play. It's yours. Yes, you are paying a small monthly hosting fee (usually around $ 5.00 or less), but its value is worth bearing in mind the thought you could lose your blog otherwise.

In addition to having your own hosted blog - I also recommend getting a domain name specific to you. The Mine is obviously www.LinusRuzicka.com. It looks much more professional than the generic URL of the site that gives your WordPress site. After submitting your domain is essential to the brand of you in this industry.

3. WordPress Theme Design - Now, you want the generic theme that comes with WordPress WordPress, or a custom design that is specific only to you? The WordPress default theme is perfect if you're just creating a blog for a blog. But since we are in this industry to make money and brand, I suggest a theme designed to measure. There are plenty of people who design custom WordPress themes that you can easily upload to your domain, to change the look and feel of your WordPress website. Some of the themes of WP are paid versions, but most of them are free.

There are over 1000 items charged directly to the website theme for WordPress , where can be chosen, although it is not limited to items uploaded to the WordPress website. Since we outsourced the design and feel of my blog, my designer and I talked back and forth for a week or so to grind the details of what I wanted. The topic I chose is very SEO friendly ("Monezine" theme) but there are many to choose from like "flexibility" or "Thesis"

4. Plug-ins - This is my favorite. Plugins are what that soups up your blog and make it a 1992 Ford Taurus, a 2010 Chevy Camaro. The right plug-in can save time, make money, and make your job much easier. In fact, I think I'll do my next post about specific plug-ins so you can see only a portion of the money that you need for you on his blog (so be sure login to my blog updates via e-mail so you can get the next).

Like the WordPress themes, if there is a specific function you want your blog to make, there are programmers out there who have created plugins for WordPress that will make your job much easier. There are 1000 WordPress plugin on WordPress.org website (WordPress.org / extend / plugins /), which are free and a growing number who are not in the WordPress database. Just go get them.

When you find a plug-in you want, just click "Install" on page specific plugin, and automatically is downloaded, unzip, and upload the plugin directory to your blog. After he finished his charge, simply go to the back office area of your blog to "activate" the plugin.
