WordPress And Dreamweaver Tutorials

I have a question for all web designers you. How to create their websites and in which language is a must?

I'm a designer wanted to combine graphic and web design. I know XHTML and CSS, and know how to tranfer Photoshop designs into Dreamweaver, too. I also know a little flash. I recently heard that many people are using WordPress to create web page, I tried to go by and there is a little overwhelming so many tutorials different methods of doing things is just to much. Then there is no php .... really ... more code than necessary? I just lost! I can build a site that works without php, but what really needs to learn to get to the next level? I wanted an easier way to integrate e-commerce, so I wanted to add a shopping cart and pay pal, but uses php, right? So I have to go to news sites. I wish I could have spent in school! argh

First, if you are a good graphic designer, you should stay in that field and do not bother with coding: In 45 years of programming in all languages I've never met a "one man" who was excellent in both coding and Graphics! Why? Because you are an artist (left brain), while the other is a logical person (right brain). You can not have both! That said, if you want encoding: (X) HTML, of course, CSS and JavaScript are the foundations any system. Then: In the Unix-based systems (LAMP server) (greater participation in the server market, and free) PHP, MySQL, AJAX based systems under Windows (Microsoft, expensive, buggy) ASP, ASP.net, MSSQL, AJAX framework. WordPress? Ruby? Dreamweaver? None of them, to generate code shit and impossible to maintain, needing much time to learn (Longuida to learn all the basic language!)
