What is affiliate marketing? An agreement between a merchant and an affiliate seller a call. The merchant has a product or service to sell, and affiliate marketing products retailer. For every sale generated by the affiliate, the merchant pays a commission income for the affiliate.

Today, affiliate marketing is one of the fastest growing industries because it is profitable for the merchant and the affiliate alike.

When the merchant has affiliates marketing your product or service that saves time, effort and money by not having market research or influence customers potential. When a visitor to the affiliate website uses the link to the purchase by the merchant, the visitor becomes a customer and the affiliate gets the commission.

If the affiliate marketing and unlimited income potential seems the right business for you, just follow these three steps to start your own affiliate marketing program.

1. Find a niche that interests you or you feel very passionate about. Focusing on the aspect or area in the know, as this will be easier to display. Your visitors, each one a potential customer, you can see his experience in the field, and this will inspire confidence in you. That confidence will will buy the product or service that you approve.

2. Find retailers with the products or services that relate to your interest. Go to Clickbank.com or paydotcom.com for listings of available products on the market. Then, create a website with a domain name
and reliable hosting. When selecting products or services for advertising on your site, consider the commission structure and the rate of conversion. It is also a great idea to find products with a turnover such as recurring membership sites. This will net you one month after month the commission, provided that the client is a member of that site.

3. After you have identified your preferred product or service, received their affiliate tracking links, and have created your website or blog. WordPress is used for both web and blog and is very easy use. Now you are ready to promote. You will have to be creative, flexible and willing to experiment with new ideas. But if you keep your determination to succeed and passion for your product or service and the "why" will be on the way to turn your passion into profits.
