Why not post my WordPress page load?

I am hard coding my own website with starkers 3.0 wordpress theme. I have problems my messages though. I have written and published a message which appears on the homepage. However, when you follow the link to the address after only I get an "Oops! This link appears to be broken." page. I do not understand why the message is clearly posted and when I go to administration section url gives me the message but I get the same page by copying and pasting. Please help.

Try to resave permanent link configuration. In wp-admin expand Configuration and click on permalinks. Click Save changes and hope that solves the problem.
