alexa blog rankings
................................................? ԁ

Recently I have noticed many blogs are being used as a ASCII replacement of d ɡ ԁ to ח g to n. Some of these blogs have a high alexa ranking too, and have many pages indexed in Google. Is this a new tactic to circumvent the filters SEO Duplicate content Google (and therefore not be penalized)? Here's an example of a blog replacement ASCII'm talking about: Notice http://www.rememberingwhoweare.com/ rare letters.

Duplicate content penalties are rare and far between. You have to be intentionally trying to create duplicate content sites, scrape, publish content feed large set to run the risk of a penalty. ASCII characters have nothing to do with it. These sites rank higher due to the authority of domain, not a simple tactic of page that can be easily manipulated.
