Creating a Master SEO Plan

Over the course of launching my “survivalism” internet site we will be publishing a lot of quality content.  The more the better.  The goal is to launch an authority hub around the topic.  Whatever you learn about internet marketing, remember that of all the internet marketing strategies, Content is STILL King.

Once we have published a lot of content on the core site we will be branching out and syndicating our blog posts to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.  But, before we do that we need to create a central site that is worth visiting.  So, for the first few weeks we will concentrate on optimizing the site for the search engines and publishing content.

Creating an authority site takes time.  Propagating it with greate content takes time.  Getting backlinks takes time.

We also do not want to make the classic newbie mistake (of which I am guilty of over an over again), of trying to monetize the site before it is ready.

• Phase 1 – create a site with great content
• Phase 2 – publish more content, syndicate it and build links
• Phase 3 – monetize the site

Just remember that Content is King and comes first and that’s what we will be concentrating on.
