Restore WordPress Database Plugin
Why do you need to back up your WordPress blog and the database
When you run a website, you want to do everything possible to protect it.
To start protecting your WordPress website, you must first make a backup of your WordPress database and critical files (files, plugins, themes, etc.).
And make regular backups in case of an emergency. If you make changes to your site frequently, we suggest doing daily backups or weekly.
Without a current backup, you are setting up ready for the potential target site and failure. I shudder to think what could happen to your blog or website without it.
Why do I need a backup of my WordPress site? Let me give you some cases by why you should have a backup ...
- You have found the great WP plugin that will take your website to the next level. You have installed and activated. When suddenly, you're getting errors in your wp-admin area. Or is excluded from your own site. Now what? One could spend hours or days ... trying to figure out how to fix it.
- You've been working with WordPress for a while. He feels confident enough to start making some changes to WP theme. Or, add some special code that someone told you to try. When "poof" your WordPress site is blank. How the hell happened? Now you have to find a way to undo what you just did.
- It's a bright sunny morning. You've had a few cups of coffee and decides to spend some time reading your email. To find an e-mail alert from Google Webmaster Tools showing that your site has been classified as suspicious and locked. Good heavens! What does that mean? You go to Google and do a search of your domain name and this message appears: "This site may harm there is something on your website that can potentially damage the computers of visitors.
- Then his worst nightmare becomes reality site! You open your web site and all you see is an ugly image of a skull and a message saying: "You've been hacked. The Monster Hacker Ownz you!" You are now in a panic. Your heart is racing. Your blood pressure is skyrocketing. Now you're screaming out loud, "Somebody help me!"
All will be fine ... If you made a backup of your WordPress database and the most important files. With the backup, you will be able to restore website.
If you have not saved your website, please do it now! I can not emphasize this enough. Without a current backup, you'd need start again. Lose all your hard work. You can not afford to skip a backup. You do not want to recreate your site again.
