Free Membership Site Settings - Step by Step

So, you have made up your mind to create a free membership site. Good for you! Now you need to carry out these steps in the order presented to complete the task of getting your website up and running.

Step 1: Determine the theme of his membership site.

What is the main topic to be discussed or the parent that are sold on your website? This is the first decision that will to be made from almost everything else depends on the decision.

Step 2: Decide on a name for your membership site.

Here you want build a list of several names that identify what the main purpose of your membership site and its theme will be. Place with less than twenty letters on them at the top of your list.

Step 3: Determine what names are available.

You can go to any hosting service and make a name search Domain names beginning with selected that have the least number of letters in them. Search until you find an appropriate domain name. For additional ideas you can go to any search engine and do a search for "domain name generator and the use of these services to brainstorm additional domain names.

Step 4: Register the domain name.

Very simple here. Just go to any domain registrar and register your name domain for a small fee. Try to get the domain name ending in. Com. My favorite registrars are GoDaddy and NameCheap although you can use anyone feel more comfortable with.

Step 5: Get a webhost.

Again, this is a fairly simple step. There are many good companies accommodation available. My favorites are HostGator and BestHosting4Marketers.

Step 6: Install the membership management software on the web server.

Best thing to do is go to Google and search for "membership management software." I do not think it's appropriate for me to try to tell you what to get here, as it will be entirely determined by the type of membership site you are trying to create your finances you have available for the software, and even the accommodation chosen before.

Step 7: Installing a CMS on the server to manage content.

There are several types of CMS (Content Management Systems) that are available, including WordPress and Drupal to name a few. Again, this decision is mostly going to be determined by the software management of membership you choose. In fact, some systems will have a composition more expensive CMS system built in what would be no need. Just check your software to see exactly what we need here.

Step 8: Add Content.

Remember, all content, whether by written, audio or video content should be relevant to the topic of your membership site.

Step 9: Set up payment processing.

This is done on sites like PayPal or ClickBank. You need this if you are selling memberships, plus free membership or if you are selling your merchandise.

Step # 10 the launch of the site.

That's it! Begin to build traffic to attract members.
