Free WordPress Plugins Download

How do I install a wordpress plugin in the free version. ie example.wordpress.com?

I want to install some plugins in my wordpress account I just created. I am new to wordpress and it's all a bit confusing. many responses that I've looked at talk about downloading the file to the root or something. But I have no access to it all. I think that is for people who own their own domain names. So is there someone who knows how to do this? (Please be familiar with wordpress and break it down into simple terms, that is, go ahead, click here!) Thanks!

Unfortunately, you can not install plugins at WordPress.com. It is a safe environment and that do not. You would have to accommodate WordPress itself.
