¿I can get a free blog wordpress.org?

Hey guys, I want to create a good WordPress blog but do not want to use wordpress.com. Is there Somehow I can create with free web space free domain or just to try it? Do not want to throw a lot of money until you know what I'm doing.

Hi Susan, I believe it is possible to use a combination of a free domain name of "co.cc" and free hosting package "000webhost." This is what I do. 1. Go to www.co.cc and register your first domain name (eg-site.co.cc www.suzies) 2. Then go to www.000webhost.com and create a hosting account Free. You get 1500MB of webspace, which is very generous, and most importantly to get a MySQL database (you need to host your WordPress blog. Most companies will not provide free hosting, but 000webhost do.) 3. Follow the instructions provided by the two companies to establish the configuration DNS. From my experience was very simple and should take no more than 30 minutes or more to be running. 4. Then install WordPress, and ready hey - you have a blog for free, completely under their own control. The only drawback is that the addresses are not usually taken co.cc as "serious" as the directions com, if you are intending to use it for commercial purposes -. and as always with gifts, there may be a risk of the company to deactivate your account, so you probably want to upgrade sometime in the near future. But as you said you intend to use for testing purposes, should be more than enough. All the best, Peter.
