WordPress, Joomla and Drupal: Which CMS is best?

WordPress, Joomla and Drupal are three systems of the most popular free content management Internet, but also generate much debate about which is better.

Let's take a brief look at each one and offer positive and negative aspects of the experience a webmaster that has built sites in the three systems.

WordPress

Positives: WordPress was created with blogs in the mind and is well suited for small websites that require limited features and capabilities. Joomla

Positives: Joomla is justifiably popular because of its simple interface and visual - one of these favorite features of WordPress. The main site at Joomla.org has an extensive list of plugins, and forums are filled with users who seem very willing to help newcomers. A template can be used to display all the pages on the site, which makes templates easy.

Negatives: The plugins are not always installed correctly, and security problems seem be common. Like the limited functionality of WordPress, the limited set of templates for Joomla is also a challenge.

Joomla is recommended for anyone with moderate technical ability and experience in managing Web sites.

Drupal

Positives: Of the three systems main Drupal is the most technically advanced and well-regarded for its efficient design. Plugins integrate efficiently with a high success rate. The main site has an extensive list of available plugins.

Negatives: The Drupal interface is not intuitive and requires extensive understanding of the full set Site features and functions. Although the free templates are available, all changes require more advanced knowledge of PHP WordPress or Joomla. In addition, Forums Drupal.org users do not respond as well as forums for WordPress or Joomla.

Drupal is recommended for anyone with advanced technical skills.
