Blogging Twitter Verses

  • Although I have titled this
Twitter blogging verses, the heart of this debate goes far beyond the simple comparison of Twitter to your blog. I'm sure you all must agree that Twitter has become the rage of a number of reasons, not least of which are celebrities high profile are jumping on the bandwagon. </ P>

All the hype and newfound fame Twitter, it seems that a large number of people they forget that the real power lies in using Twitter. While in some circles are beginning to replace Twitter murmurs of other websites and blogs. My first thought was, "What world is this possible" </ P>.

First blogs are not going anywhere and is not likely Twitter will have no impact on the growth of the blogging community. While there are many options when it comes to blogging one of the most popular is WordPress and a review WordPress site quickly shows that there have been over 3.5 million downloads. Note that this does not take into account the many sites like Blogger, BlogSpot, WordPress.com or TypePad bloggers all provide a means to start a new blog in minutes to create an account. </ P>
    While blogs
not a new technology that is gaining in popularity as evidenced by the large number of small companies, news sites, radio stations, television channels, large corporations and we do not forget the benefits that the addition of blogs for marketing on a daily basis. </ P>
    What
Twitter is, after all? </ P>

Twitter is a communication tool when used effectively can be a powerful channel for making new connections, for promotional and drive traffic to your main website. Often referred to as a micro-blog I maintain that this statement is a bit exaggerated. From my perspective, Twitter is a text messaging program combined with many powerful features that can be found in a chat room environment. </ P>
    While my blog
tend to run on the longest side of what is normally found in a blog, what the world could ever adequately cover any topic of interest in a tweet? Although I will not claim to be as creative when thinking cram into 140 characters, like many, I'll be so bold as to say if you can get all your thoughts in the space of 140 characters .... I think I'll leave that thought while I have put my foot in my mouth. </ P>

The point is that if you really want to discuss issues of importance to the growth of its business, the challenges they face when just starting a new opportunity business, the importance of personal development that applies to your success, etc, etc. there is simply no way to cover the topics of this level of importance in a tweet. </ P>
    His
blog (and / or website) are the core of its Internet marketing efforts. They actually are the basis of their presence on the Internet and all its online marketing efforts in support of this foundation. If you're really using the tools available to you, at any given time you can pull the static important where potential new customers are generating, what keywords they took place, that social networks provide a steady flow of traffic you, you pay for the clicks are generating better quality prospects / leads, just to name a few. </ P>

Twitter is simply a piece of a much larger picture that you should have a handle on whether they are really going to take full advantage of all that is available as a result of new strategies created by Web 2.0. </ P>

With all the hype of the Twitters of the world is easy to lose focus of the picture large and will soon realize that they have left their most important resource suffer because of the lack of attention. </ P>
    When talk
someone new who is venturing into the world of Internet technologies, online marketing and social media, I always try to emphasize the importance have a well defined marketing plan. It seems to me time and again that people are jumping into online marketing with the hope of creating an online presence without large for the first time a joint marketing plan. In all honesty this is simply a mirror of what happens daily with traditional companies. Talk to any number of owners small business and is likely to find that they have a business plan, marketing plan and is really flying by the seat of his pants, hoping things work. </ P>

Not fall into this trap! </ P>

While it is important to put some thought into your plan Marketers who do not have to read like an encyclopedia when finished. As one or two page marketing plan with a few simple guidelines will have much to begin with and most importantly so you can concentrate on the tasks at the right. </ P>

While Twitter has gained a large following and is receiving a great amount of media / internet attention, there is no possibility of replacing it all. If you do not have a blog, create one. For those of you who already are immersed keep it up in the water and not lose sight of its original objectives. <
Now Pay close attention
