Using email as WordPress?

I have a WordPress blog, but I did when I was a rookie and I do not like the user name because it has nothing to do with my real blog (on blogger, by the way) so I tried making a new WordPress user name, but said that email has already been used for a WP. To get around this, I tried to change the email to the old WP blog, and I changed one of my old messages. Then I tried subscribe to a WordPress blog again with my current e-mail, but this time it did not work ..? Please help me. D:

Sign for a gmail account, gmail account set to forward all mail from your preferred e-mail, create a new blog to the gmail account.
