Change WordPress Url Address

URL of the site that does not change when you click the internal links?

So I'm trying to host a web server in a special box. I have the web server up and running well, but am I encounter problems with the mask. I have a domain pointing to the IP address and seems to be working, but if you try click on internal links on the site of the page changes, but no URL. For example, say that the home page is www.example.com and click the link to the forums, URL should be www.example.com / forums, but still www.example.com in the address bar of your browser. Also if I go directly to the forums by typing no matter www.example.com / forums how many links you click on forums remains URL www.example.com / forums. I'm not sure if it's of any consequence, but I'm running WordPress and Simple Machines Forums. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Any correction?

the guy had to choose when setting your domain name? if you choose "URL forwarding", url often shows as you say. A records and CNAME records are the types commonly used in domain creation.
