Get The launch of Singapore website marks
SPRING Singapore announced today the launch of GET SINGAPORE, to raise awareness of "jewels" homegrown retail design in our own backyard. SINGAPORE GET is a collective mark which acts as a marketing platform aimed at showing well-designed high quality brands in Singapore, both here and abroad.
Minister of State for Trade and Industry Lee Yi Shyan Mr., unveiled the new brand identity GET SINGAPORE, a launching ceremony at VivoCity's participation GET SINGAPORE Board, SPRING Singapore and Singapore Tourism Board officials, along with guests industry.
SINGAPORE GET is a joint initiative by SPRING Singapore and the retail industry, with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board.
In addition create a greater awareness of good design and high quality merchandise designed and developed in Singapore, Singapore GET will organize a series of events and activities aimed payment systems, owners of shopping centers, and industrial.
GET Singapore has been signed by 37 brands, which includes large and medium-sized local retailers companies. It offers the brands participating in a strategic and unified platform to showcase and market their brands and goods to a wider audience in Singapore and abroad. About 15 of the 37 brands of Singapore retail markets abroad have a total of 27 countries outside Singapore.
SPRING Singapore Director of Retail, Furniture, Textiles & Apparel, Mrs Kee Ai No, he said, "GET Singapore strengthen Singapore's reputation of good quality, authentic products that reflect the cosmopolitan multicultural sophistication of retail brands in Singapore and merchandise. As we accumulate the value of the brand, but also can serve as an excellent vehicle for local businesses to publicize their brands in overseas markets through collective marketing platform. "
Ms. Kim Faulkner, acting CEO of GET SINGAPORE Brands Ltd said: "Overall, GET Singapore to promote Singapore as a place where good design and innovative ideas flourish at retail. In fact, several of the participating brands have taken their concepts abroad and have already built a solid base of regional and international clients. Others have done the covers fashion and lifestyle publications in the region, as well as mentions on popular blogs, where one of our retail brand has been known for its fashion accessories quality exotic leather that can match maisons fashionable in Europe. "

GET SINGAPORE is a non-profit, collective brand that showcases and promotes some of the nation’s most dynamic merchandise brands. Participating brands sign up on annual basis to be a part of this collective marketing platform and all proceeds go towards the marketing and promotional activities undertaken on a group basis for the participating brands.
