My Internet Marketing Strategies Journey to Success

As we mentioned earlier I am using the Flexsqueeze Lite Theme on my Survival Skills blog that we are setting up in this training series.  FlexSqueeze is a WordPress theme that is easy to use and provides terrific options for creating great looking websites that are search engine optimized and, therefore, rank well with Google.

You can use other themes if you want, there are thousands of them available and many good ones are free.  I was able to get Flexsqueeze Lite for free, but I do not know if that offer is still available.

Download the theme to your PC so you can upload it to your blog later on.  You can either file transfer the unzipped folder to your blog or you can add from the zipped file using the “Install a Theme” menu option in WordPress.

Flexsqueeze has a lot of tutorials to show you how to set it up.  There are also dozens of tutorials available on YouTube.

We all want our themes to pretty and snazzy.  I certainly do.  But one thing you need to remember is that it is easy to blow all your time tweaking the appearance of your blog and never getting any content done.  Content comes first!
