17 WordPress Links to Trusted Sites
17 How to Moderate Blog Comments and Spam
My Internet Marketing Strategies Journey to Success
Let’s discuss Latent Semantic Indexing – Google has an understanding of how words relate to each other. The more you relate words to each other on your site the more the search engines will recognize their relationships. For example, if you do a search on the word “buy” it comes up in bold in the search results. But, so does price, shop, and store. The search engines show related words.
So what does this have to do with my blog?
Google understands related words and so you should use them within the content of your website and as keywords for linking out to other trusted sites. And we are going to take advantage of this with some authority outbound links. These will improve your trust with the search engines.
I’m going to go to the Link section of my Survival Skills blog. To start with I will set up a category for my Survival Skills blog called “Survival Skills Resources”. Then I am going to find some high rated sites and set them up as links under the Survival Skills Resources category. I will title the outbound sites using the idea of related keywords. e.g. survival skills training, lessons, schools, etc.
Thuse, For my Survival Skills site I created an outbound link called Wikipedia Survival Skills Training under the Survival Skills Resources, link category.
Note that you may lose some outbound traffic, but it will be small in comparison to the authority this lends to your site and the overall value.
Now I’m going to set up about 4 or 5 more outbound links to other authority sites.
