If you set up your site correctly, and you continue to add content (correctly) you will build enormous credibility with the search engines.

Now its time to leverage the linking structure.   

To do this we will be using our target keyword phrases (that we set up before as pages) as anchors for creating internal links from posts on your website to the pages on your site.  This internal linking will accomplish better page ranking and drive more traffic.

One of the keyword phrases we are using on the http://survivalskillsandgear.com blog is “learn survival skills”.  We also created a page titled “Learn Survival Skills” and it has a URL of http://survivalskillsandgear.com/learn-survival-skills/.

So, to create an internal link you would create a link to that “Learn Survival Skills” page when you are writing a post with those keywords in the article.

SEO is based on great content, links and time.  Keep doing this and it will help your SEO efforts
