In the General Settings tab of your WordPress Dashboard, be sure that the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) are exactly the same as the URL you used to set your site in the first place.

Google sees two versions of your domain name, one with the “WWW” and one without.  e.g. http://survivalskillsandgear.com and www.survivalskillsandgear.com

In the WordPress address (URL) and the Site address (URL) fields that are displayed, KEEP the defaults the way they are.  Do not change them.

In other words, if you had originally set up your site address without www’s, always be sure that your site address is without www’s. And the reverse is also true.

In General settings you can also set the title and description for your blog (if you din’t do so when creating your blog with Fantastico).

You can also check the box for “Anyone can Register”, set your timezone, and email address for notices to come to.  I do NOT use my main email address for this field.
