What the hell is wrong with America?

One study found that the main IRC 5,400,000 people have died from causes related to war in the Congo since 1998 - the deadliest documented conflict global population since the Second World War. The vast majority died from non-violent causes, such the conditions of malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia and malnutrition readily preventable and treatable when individuals have access to health care and nutritious food. 45,000 people die each month in Congo. What can we do to help? Nothing. While your tax dollars are not going to help the thousands who die every month, go to investigation of the ethnic groups of the elderly! I think the U.S. should take measures to prevent and treat conditions that you mentioned. I also agree that every dollar of our Taxes are not being used very wisely. However, our government has the power to change that. While the country loses 10% of its population each year, population continues to increase. You may ask why. This is due to immigrants and births. The current U.S. population is 307 million, compared to 252 million in 1991. That's an impressive increase of 22%! The births are much more than a problem of immigrants. A higher than expected number of births due to pregnancy in adolescents and poor family planning. I think there should be a one-child policy in all urban areas of the world to control the population problem. My point is, the population problem in our country (and world) is much larger than the problem of disease and the state in Congo.
