Are no longer sins of sloth and gluttony?
Charles "Chuck" Dewease, pastor of First Pentecostal Church of Youngstown, is not ashamed to say anyone weight. "I'm a little over 415 pounds and proud of it." He says. "Ten years ago, while reading the book of 1 Timothy Dewease was subjected to "an intense conviction that" to read 1 Timothy 4:8 which says, "For bodily exercise little." Since that day has Dewease become a point to avoid any and all manner of exercise, intended to get a lot of weight to show his "conviction." That story is just another example of people using the Bible to support their personal decisions. He chooses to be a fat pig ... and has a scripture to prove it's okay. Gluttony and sloth have taken a back seat to the "immorality" because it is easier
