WordPress Version 2.8.5 Review

It's been a year since I was first properly introduced to WordPress and started using it to create a file my line of work. In the last 12 months I have learned to appreciate the power and flexibility of this piece of blogging software online and now feel the need to enter a little more detail.

WordPress is a free and open application publishing sources that offer home users the ability to create fast a blog and easily online using your own domain name. Blogging is the term used to describe the chronicle of information on a website and has become very popular recently, more and more people realize the Internet can be used to convey their ideas and opinions to the world.

For most, the perspective of coding a website from scratch is not only a daunting task, but potentially impossible, so it is due to applications such as worthy of WordPress for a blog accessible to the masses. It is undeniable that a small amount of technical knowledge is necessary, however, the initial installation process actually could not have been lowered.

Start by registering your domain name (for example, I chose www.computerarticles.co.uk ) And order a hosting package. Holding your blog should not cost more than about £ 25 a year, you may want to use the same company you used for this to register the domain.

With this process, download the WordPress Application www.wordpress.org and upload it to your web space before running a single installation file that will configure the software to work with your web hosting provider and let you set the configuration initial, such as a username and password. You can change the theme of your site using the theme selector that allows you to define the style of your site a selection of thousands of people. Not all WordPress sites will look the same though. The subject use will radically change not only how your blog looks, but how feel, for example, all design site navigation can be changed simply by selecting a new topic.

Update your blog and provide functionality extra for you and your users is also easy to achieve, but unfortunately I reached my word limit so this will continue next week.
