how to install ubuntu with a view?

Hello! So I've been trying to install ubuntu OS with Vista Home Premium on my Dell PC that came preinstalled with the system vain.The Vista OS but problem? I do not know how to partition my hard disk.I referred to the following website for help and as directed ... says there wud be an option known as "Guided - use the largest continuous free space", but when I really tried ... showed me that option, even after reducing the volume of my sight of you 90 GB to 70 GB and release a 20Gb unallocated space .... I tried the manual partition option, but space 20 GB unallocated not even shown in the options .... please help me friends ....... I really want to install Ubuntu as soon as possible
